Been busy with trying to get as much shooting done, aside from the normal business of being a mom… so that’s my excuse for not updating the blog…
Anyway, I’ll slowly update with a few images from shoots that I’ve been doing…
Here’s one from Kaiya and Nakai’s and if you’d like to see more, you can check out the full story here:

Here’s the fun family image I shot for the Paloma highrise development featured in the latest issue of New Homes magazine… it’s a really well planned community, one of the few that offers centralized air conditioning unit… just imagine the summer heat! Check them out…

Been doing a lot of shooting lately and not much of posting… here’s one quick one from the most recent shoot with Vanessa and Josh… we had so much fun!
Hand delivered Mr. Tojo’s copies of New Western Cuisine a couple of weeks ago and actually tried the Omakase which was 5 stars in my book… The dishes were fresh, original, and just unsurpassed by any other Japanese restaurant I’ve ever dined in. And of course, I made sure I got the autograph of “the guy who invented the California Roll”… he is such a character and just passionate about his creations which makes them even more special… I didn’t bring my camera with me but my friend Gilbert was there was there to capture the moment with his cam phone… enjoy the article and check out Tojo’s one of these days… it is worth every penny…

I haven’t had a chance to post photos from Jill and Aki’s session since the preview Been so busy with Winter Olympic stuff… taking the kids to downtown visiting sites and pavilions… it’s kind of like the expo and the lineups are so long you could pretty much just visit one venue in a day… well of course its a bit harder with 2 kids… but its definitely a lot of fun! Canada is tied with the US having the highest gold medal count… I’m not a big sports fan but its just awesome to be part of all this…
Anyway… Jill and Aki are now married… congratulations! You both are such a lovely pair… it is so beautiful to see your love shine in these images… A big hug to you both… thank you for letting me share in these moments.

Been doing some homework with Leslie over at Burns Consultants who I think is awesome for offering her insights on images submitted based on a topic she has picked for the month. It is a good exercise on expanding your vision beyond what you would normally consider photographing. The topic this month is the Home Mortgage Crisis — based on an story from NY Times… here’ s what I came up with. It’s interesting to note that these two images were taken fro the same scene but different point of views… plus variations in post processing… amazing how the mood completely changes.

This was one of the images from our Watermelon and Lollipops summer shoot just last summer… its so nostalgic to look at it… Maya has grown so much since then… and in fact just celebrated her 6th birthday (and my 34th!) last week… really got to enjoy them when they are young because they grow so fast! And take lots of pictures! More from this shoot shortly…
